At Wagga Evangelical we want to get to know God better. So in addition to our regular Sunday meetings, we get together during the week to learn from God’s word, the Bible. We call these gatherings "Growth groups". They are aimed to see people grow in godly maturity. In these groups we discuss what God is saying to us in his word, the Bible, and challenge each other to live God’s way in our different life situations today. We also pray together for each other and our world.
Groups meet in peoples lounge rooms all over Wagga, with some sharing dinner before the study, whilst others share dessert or morning tea.
In 2010 there are groups meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, and a women's group meets on Wednesday mornings (with childcare provided).
Growth groups are a fantastic way of exploring Gods Word more deeply, whilst sharing those learning experiences with others in a safe and friendly atmosphere. It would be great if you would join one!
